A Pint of Cream

Ghost of Garb Past...

So here are many many examples of garb I've done in the past. Some of them good, some of them not so, some you will have never seen me in. Why? Because they sucked, that's why....

As I dig up more pictures I'll post them...

The first Persian I attempted for Alana sometime ago.

A vaguely successful attempt at a Tudor. A couple of years ago

A Hilak- Robe of Honor- done for Edric IV and Faizeh II a little over a year ago. This was a joint project. Brianna and I slaved away on this forever...

The back of the Hilak

Here they are, in use at 12th night!

Something I whipped up for Edric IV and Faizeh I- Reversible purple and taupe dupioni kaftans

My black and red dupioni, Gene Simmons inspired set. It only saw daylight once prior to me burning it in effigy. Love the venetians though and I believe I kept them around someplace.

These particular pictures were taken prior to the finish of the suit, when I was pinned into place.

My backside.

My Wife's most favoritist coat in the world. Tudor in style, blue brocade, trimmed in fox- real fox.

Special note to PETA:

@%*# off.

My wife's backside

My red and taupe brocade generic Italian. Most of  you have seen me in this a lot of the last couple of years. It's been my old standby. well, 40 pounds ago it was my old standby. Now, well, it's our guest pavillion...

Ahh yes... this brings back memories....Like five six years ago, it was one of the first "fancy" suits. It also managed to install a deep seated fear of trim into me.

People couldn't have cared less about the doublet, but I did get a lot of compliments on the breeches!

Now, this picture isn't five years old. I dug this puppy up last year (or was it the year before) and put it on to help me remember what I should...and should not...do as a costumer.

Kind of like this web page.

This was one of my favorite "intermediate" suits. Intermediate because it came after that horrendous monstrosity above, but before my newer suits.

I still like it. It went well with the boots so I could wear it on the field. It was way comfy!

Blue diamond brocade with cream brocade. Slashes in the doublets have small pearls at each end and one in the middle.

One of my favorite things to do is to have a bunch of doublets and pants floating around that I can mix and match. This particular doublet of red and taupe brocade is rapier legal. The pants were made of a bone colored brocade.

Ah, how it served me well!

Yah, I know, the hat is huge. But you know what? Outside of a pavilion, I had the most shade at Estrella!
