A Pint of Cream

Recently Finished Projects "In the Field" so to Speak...

Here are a bunch of photos of recent garb running around events. The definition of recent is, of course, garb that which was constructed since the inception of this website (August '08). Not all of the pictures were taken by me (obviously) or by my camera. Every effort will be taken to credit the proper photographer, if known.

(it wouldn't be the first time I've received an anonymous email with photographs before....)

Oh yes, the product of the Blue and White Reconfiguration. Many, many thanks go out to Henri le Juif was kind enough to snap a couple of photos from the feast of my little Frankestienian reconstruction. The original photos, as well as many others from Califia Anniversary, can be viewed on his website: http://www.rgbar.com/sca/20081115ca/ You know you want to learn more about this project..

Here it is! I started with this project last August. You would think it would have been much more spiffy with all that time. But no matter, since Alana was happy, I'm good with that!
The Burgundy and Gold Gothic Fitted Dress I started prior to GWW XI and finsihed right before GWW XII. Working dress for my lovely wife. Alana_burgundy_and _gold
Alana_and_Marciano_at_GWW_12So here's Alana and I in procession for Vivienne, who was just about to take her rightfull place in the Order of the Pelican of Caid. Finally they got it right!

Anyways, me in my Merchant of Florence and Alana in her Hilak, et al were a big hit with a very small and select group of like two people.

It's not that the pieces were ugly or anything, but I guess people just had other things to do with their time then to gaze at pretty people in garb... Hmmm, with the memorial service for Kolfinna and no less than three elevations I can't see why anyone would care.

Master Giles liked it though. Brianna, on the other hand, was no where to be found untill after dark...sigh. Busy busy busy. To bad she wasn't elevated. She deserves it, but, you know, you don't make any friends by telling the truth and following the rules. Whatever.

This is the only picture of any of the garb I did for war other than the one above taken at home. Thank you very, very much to my good friend and mentor THLady Cáelfind ben Uí Chonfraích in Darach for snapping this photo of us!
